English translation

3103. Narrated 'Aīshah رضي الله عنها that Allāh's Messenger ﷺ used to offer the Aṣr prayer while the sun was still shining in her Hūjra (i.e., her dwelling place).

Arabic text

3103 - حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ المُنْذِرِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي العَصْرَ، وَالشَّمْسُ لَمْ تَخْرُجْ مِنْ حُجْرَتِهَا»
