English translation
3343. Narrated Ibn 'Abbās رضي الله عنهما: 'AliThe Prophet ﷺ said, "I have been madevictorious with Aṣ-Ṣabā (i.e., an easterlywind) and the people of 'Ād were destroyedby Ad-Dabūr (i.e., a westerly wind)."

The Statement of Allāh :"And to 'Ād (people, We sent), their brother Hūd." (V.7:65)

3343 - حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَرْعَرَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الحَكَمِ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «نُصِرْتُ بِالصَّبَا، وَأُهْلِكَتْ عَادٌ بِالدَّبُورِ»
