English translation

3607. Narrated Hudhaifa رضي الله عنه (something about) good companions learned (through asking ا. ب. Prophet ﷺ), while I learned (something about) evil (by asking the Prophet ﷺ about it, to save myself from it).

3607 - حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ المُثَنَّى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسٌ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ «تَعَلَّمَ أَصْحَابِي الخَيْرَ وَتَعَلَّمْتُ الشَّرَّ»
