WhenAllāh's Messenger ﷺ was in good health, heused to say, "Never does a Prophet die unlesshe is shown his place in Paradise (before hisdeath), and then he is given life or givenoption." When the Prophet ﷺ became illand his last moments came while his head wason my thigh, he became unconscious, andwhen he came to his senses, he lookedtowards the roof of the house and thensaid, "O Allāh! (Please let me be) with thehighest companions." Thereupon I said,"So, he is not going to stay with us!" ThenI came to know that his state was theconfirmation of the narration he used tomention to us while he was in good health.
