English translation

4467. Narrated ‘Aishah رضي الله عنها: The Prophet ﷺ died while his armour was mortgaged to a Jew for thirty i.e., 30 Ṣā' of barley.

Arabic text

: 4467 - حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: «تُوُفِّيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَدِرْعُهُ مَرْهُونَةٌ عِنْدَ يَهُودِيٍّ بِثَلاَثِينَ»
