رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ 4617. Narrated Anas bin Mālik:We had no alcoholic drinks except that whichwas produced from dates and which you callAl-Fadikh. While I was standing offeringdrinks to Abū Ṭalḥa and so-and-so and so-and-so, a man came and said, "Has the newsreached you?" They said, "What is that?" Hesaid, "Alcoholic drinks have beenprohibited." They said, "Spill (the contentsof) these pots, O Anas!" Then they neitherasked about it (alcoholic drinks) nor returnedto it after the news from that man.
