4749. Narrated 'Āishah رضي الله عنها , regarding the Verse "And as for him among them who had the greater share..." (V.24:11) was 'Abdullāh bin Ubayy bin Salūl.

Arabic text

4749 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا: {وَالَّذِي تَوَلَّى كِبْرَهُ} [النور: 11] قَالَتْ: «عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أُبَيٍّ ابْنُ سَلُولَ»
