English translation

5034. Narrated 'Abdullāh bin Mughaffal: I saw Allāh's Messenger ﷺ reciting Sūrat Al-Fath on his she-camel on the day of the conquest of Makkah.

Arabic text

5034 - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو إِيَاسٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مُغَفَّلٍ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ سُورَةَ الفَتْحِ»
