5042. Narrated 'Aishah رضي الله عنها: The Prophet ﷺ heard a reciter reciting the Qur'an in the mosque at night. The Prophet ﷺ said, "May Allāh bestow His Mercy on him, as he has reminded me of such and such Verses of such and such Sūrah, which I missed!"
5042 - حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ آدَمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَارِئًا يَقْرَأُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فِي المَسْجِدِ، فَقَالَ: «يَرْحَمُهُ اللَّهُ لَقَدْ أَذْكَرَنِي كَذَا وَكَذَا آيَةً أَسْقَطْتُهَا مِنْ سُورَةِ كَذَا وَكَذَا»
