508. Narrated 'Aīshah رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا: Do you make us (women) equal to dogs and donkeys? While I used to lie in my bed, the Prophet ﷺ would come and offer Ṣalāt (prayer) facing the middle of the bed. I used to consider it not good to be in front of him in his Ṣalāt. So I used to slip away slowly and quietly from the foot of the bed till I got out of my blanket.
508 - حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: أَعَدَلْتُمُونَا بِالكَلْبِ وَالحِمَارِ «لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي مُضْطَجِعَةً عَلَى السَّرِيرِ، فَيَجِيءُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَيَتَوَسَّطُ السَّرِيرَ، فَيُصَلِّي، فَأَكْرَهُ أَنْ أُسَنِّحَهُ، فَأَنْسَلُّ مِنْ قِبَلِ رِجْلَيِ السَّرِيرِ حَتَّى أَنْسَلَّ مِنْ لِحَافِي»
