English translation
5633. Narrated Hudhaifa: The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not drink in gold or silver utensils, and do not wear clothes of silk or Dībāj, for these things are for them (disbelievers) in this world and for you (Muslims) in the Hereafter."

5633 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ المُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، قَالَ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ حُذَيْفَةَ، وَذَكَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لاَ تَشْرَبُوا فِي آنِيَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَالفِضَّةِ، وَلاَ تَلْبَسُوا الحَرِيرَ وَالدِّيبَاجَ، فَإِنَّهَا لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَكُمْ فِي الآخِرَةِ»
