English translation

5832. Narrated Anas bin Mālik رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever wears silk in this world, shall not wear it in the Hereafter."

Arabic text

5832 - حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ العَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: فَقُلْتُ: أَعَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَقَالَ شَدِيدًا: عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «مَنْ لَبِسَ الحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا فَلَنْ يَلْبَسَهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ»
