5883. Narrated Ibn 'Abbās رضي الله عنهما: "The Prophet ﷺ offered two-Rak'āt Ṣalāt (prayer) on 'Eid day and he did not offer any [Nawāfil Ṣalāt (prayer)] before or after it. He then went towards the women, and Bilāl was accompanying him, and ordered them to give alms. And so the women started giving their ear-rings, (etc.)."
5883 - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَدِيٌّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدًا، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «صَلَّى يَوْمَ العِيدِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ، لَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهَا وَلاَ بَعْدَهَا، ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ وَمَعَهُ بِلاَلٌ، فَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ، فَجَعَلَتِ المَرْأَةُ تُلْقِي قُرْطَهَا»
