5926. Narrated 'Āishah رضي الله عنها: The Prophet ﷺ used to like to start from the right side as far as possible in combing and in performing ablution.

To start combing the hair from the right side.

5926 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُعْجِبُهُ التَّيَمُّنُ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ، فِي تَرَجُّلِهِ وَوُضُوئِهِ»
