English translation
6020. Narrated 'Aishah عنها رضي الله عنها: I said,"O Allāh's Messenger! I have twoneighbours! To whom shall I send mygifts?" He said, "To the one whose gate isnearer to you."
Hadith 6020
The neighbour whose gateis nearer to you has more right to receiveyour favours.

6020 - حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عِمْرَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّ لِي جَارَيْنِ، فَإِلَى أَيِّهِمَا أُهْدِي؟ قَالَ: «إِلَى أَقْرَبِهِمَا مِنْكِ بَابًا»
