English translation

6098. Narrated Tāriq: 'Abdullāh said, "The best talk is Allāh's Book (the Qur'ān), and the best guidance is the guidance of Muḥammad ﷺ."

Arabic text

6098 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُخَارِقٍ، سَمِعْتُ طَارِقًا، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: «إِنَّ أَحْسَنَ الحَدِيثِ كِتَابُ اللَّهِ، وَأَحْسَنَ الهَدْيِ هَدْيُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
