English translation

6253. Narrated 'Āishah رضي الله عنها that the Prophet ﷺ said to her, "Jibril (Gabriel) sends Salām (greetings) to you." She replied, "Wa 'alaihis-salām wa raḥmatullāh." (Peace and Allāh's Mercy be on him)

Arabic text

6253 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّاءُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَامِرًا، يَقُولُ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا، حَدَّثَتْهُ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهَا: «إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ يُقْرِئُكِ السَّلاَمَ» قَالَتْ: وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ
