English translation

6639. Narrated Abū Hurairah رضي الله عنه: Allāh's Messenger ﷺ said, "(The Prophet)Sulaimān (Solomon) once said, 'Tonight Iwill sleep with ninety women, each of whomwill bring forth a (would-be) cavalier, whowill fight in Allāh's Cause'." On this, hiscompanion said to him, 'Say: If Allāh will'But he did not say 'if Allāh will'. Sulaimānthen slept with all the women, but none ofthem became pregnant except one womanwho later delivered a half-man (i.e.,malformed baby). By Him in Whose HandMuḥammad's soul is, if he (Sulaimān) hadsaid, 'If Allāh will' (all his wives would havebrought forth boys) and they would havefought in Allāh's Cause as cavaliers."
