6905. Narrated Hishām's father: Al-Mughīra bin Shu'ba said: 'Umar رضي الله عنه consulted the companions about the case of a woman's abortion (caused by somebody else). Al-Mughīra said, "The Prophet ﷺ gave the verdict that a male or female slave should be given (as a Diya)."
6905 - حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ المُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّهُ اسْتَشَارَهُمْ فِي إِمْلاَصِ المَرْأَةِ، فَقَالَ المُغِيرَةُ: «قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْغُرَّةِ، عَبْدٍ أَوْ أَمَةٍ»
