English translation
6991. Narrated Ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنهما Some people were shown the Night of Qadr as being in the last seven nights (of the month of Ramaḍān). The Prophet ﷺ said, “Seek it in the last seven nights (of Ramaḍān).”

6991 - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَنَّ أُنَاسًا أُرُوا لَيْلَةَ القَدْرِ فِي السَّبْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ، وَأَنَّ أُنَاسًا أُرُوا أَنَّهَا فِي العَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «التَمِسُوهَا فِي السَّبْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ»
