764. Narrated Marwān bin Al-Ḥakam :Zaid bin Thābit رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ said to me, "Whydo you recite very short Sūrah in the Maghribprayer while I heard the Prophet ﷺ recitingthe longer of the two long Sūrah?" 764 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الحَكَمِ، قَالَ: قَالَ لِي زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ: «مَا لَكَ تَقْرَأُ فِي المَغْرِبِ بِقِصَارٍ، وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ بِطُولَى الطُّولَيَيْنِ»
