English translation

1505. Narrated Abū Sa'īd رضي الله عنه: We used to give one Ṣā' of barley as Ṣadaqat-ul-Fiṭr (per head).

1505 - حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: «كُنَّا نُطْعِمُ الصَّدَقَةَ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ»
