English translation

1658. Narrated Umm Al-Faḍl رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا: The people doubted whether the Prophet ﷺ was observing the fast on the Day of 'Arafa, so I sent something for him to drink and he drank it.

Arabic text

1658 - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمٌ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُمَيْرًا مَوْلَى أُمِّ الفَضْلِ، عَنْ أُمِّ الفَضْلِ، شَكَّ النَّاسُ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فِي صَوْمِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، «فَبَعَثْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِشَرَابٍ فَشَرِبَهُ»
