1745. Narrated Ibn 'Umar رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا Al-'Abbās رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ asked permission from the Prophet ﷺ to stay at Makkah during the nights of Mina in order to provide water to the people, so the Prophet ﷺ allowed him.
1745 - وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا: أَنَّ العَبَّاسَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ اسْتَأْذَنَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيَبِيتَ بِمَكَّةَ لَيَالِيَ مِنًى مِنْ أَجْلِ سِقَايَتِهِ، «فَأَذِنَ لَهُ» تَابَعَهُ أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، وَعُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، وَأَبُو ضَمْرَةَ
