English translation

1758, 1759. Narrated 'Ikrima: The people of Al-Madīna asked Ibn 'Abbās رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا about a woman who got her menses after performing Tawāf-al-Ifāda. He said, "She could depart (from Makkah)." They said, "We will not act on your verdict and ignore the verdict of Zaid." Ibn 'Abbās said, "When you reach Al-Madīna, inquire about it." So, when they reached Al-Madīna they asked (about that). One of those they asked was Umm Sulaim. She told them the narration of Ṣāfiyya (Hadīth No.1757).
