English translation
1860. Narrated Ibrahim's grand-father that 'Umar رضي الله عنه in his last Hajj allowed the wives of the Prophet ﷺ to perform Hajj; and he sent with them 'Uthmān bin 'Affān and 'Abdur-Raḥmān bin 'Aūf as escorts.

1860 - وَقَالَ لِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ هُوَ الأَزْرَقِيُّ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، «أَذِنَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، لِأَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي آخِرِ حَجَّةٍ حَجَّهَا، فَبَعَثَ مَعَهُنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ، وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ»
