English translation

1921. Narrated Anas رضي الله عنه: Zaid bin Thābit رضي الله عنه said, "We took the Sahūr (late night meals) with the Prophet ﷺ. Then he stood for Aṣ-Ṣalāt (the prayer)." I asked, "What was the interval between the Sahūr and the Adhān?" He replied, "The interval was sufficient to recite fifty Verses of the Qur'ān."
