English translation
2000. Narrated Sālim's father رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever wishes may observe Saum (fast) on the day of ‘Āshūra’.”

2000 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ إِنْ شَاءَ صَامَ»
