2075. Narrated Az-Zubair bin Al-Awwām رضي الله عنه : The Prophet ﷺ said, "One would rather take a rope (and cut wood and carry it than to ask others)."

2075 - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ العَوَّامِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَأَنْ يَأْخُذَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَحْبُلَهُ»
