2824. Narrated As-Sā'ib bin Yazid: I was in the company of Ṭalḥa bin 'Ubaidullāh, Sa'd, Al-Miqdād bin Al-Aswad and 'Abdur-Raḥmān bin 'Aūf رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمُ، and I heard none of them narrating anything from Allāh's Messenger ﷺ but Ṭalḥa was talking about the day (of the battle) of Uḥud.
2824 - حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: «صَحِبْتُ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، وَسَعْدًا، وَالمِقْدَادَ بْنَ الأَسْوَدِ، وَعَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ، فَمَا سَمِعْتُ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا أَنِّي سَمِعْتُ طَلْحَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ يَوْمِ أُحُدٍ»
