English translation

2830. Narrated Anas bin Mālik رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ said, "Plague (the cause of martyrdom of every Muslim (who dies because of it))."

Arabic text

2830 - حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمٌ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الطَّاعُونُ شَهَادَةٌ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ»
