2848. Narrated Mālik bin Al-Huwaīrith: On my departure from the Prophet ﷺ he said to me and to a friend of mine, "You two, pronounce the Adhān and the Iqāma for the Ṣalāt (prayer) and let the elder of you lead the Ṣalāt (prayer)."
2848 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الحُوَيْرِثِ، قَالَ: انْصَرَفْتُ مِنْ عِنْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ لَنَا أَنَا وَصَاحِبٍ لِي: «أَذِّنَا، وَأَقِيمَا وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمَا أَكْبَرُكُمَا»
