2886. Narrated Abū Hurairah رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ said, "Let the slave of Dīnār and Dirham, and Qatīfa and Khamīsa (i.e., money and luxurious clothes) perish for he is pleased if these things are given to him, and if not, he is displeased!"
2886 - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «تَعِسَ عَبْدُ الدِّينَارِ، وَالدِّرْهَمِ، وَالقَطِيفَةِ، وَالخَمِيصَةِ، إِنْ أُعْطِيَ رَضِيَ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يُعْطَ لَمْ يَرْضَ»، لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ إِسْرَائِيلُ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جُحَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ
