English translation

2996. Narrated Ibrāhīm Abū Isma'īl As-Saksakī: I heard Abū Burda who accompanied Yazīd bin Abī Kabsha on a journey. Yazīd used to observe Saum (fasting) on journeys. Abū Burda said to him, "I heard Abū Mūsā several times saying that Allāh's Messenger ﷺ said, 'When a slave (a believer) falls ill or travels, then he will get written to his accounts (the reward) similar to that he used to get for his good deeds practised at home and in good health' (as if he is doing them in journey and in illness)."
