English translation

332. Narrated Samura bin Jundab رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for the dead body of a woman who died of (during) delivery (i.e., childbirth) and he stood by the middle of her body.

Arabic text

332 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي سُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شَبَابَةُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ المُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ: «أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مَاتَتْ فِي بَطْنٍ، فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَامَ وَسَطَهَا»
