English translation

343. Narrated 'Ammār رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ stroked the earth with his hands and then passed them over his face and the back of his hands (while demonstrating Tayammum).

Arabic text

٣٤٣ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ ذَرٍّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ عَمَّارٌ : «فَضَرَبَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِيَدِهِ الْأَرْضَ، فَمَسَحَ وَجْهَهُ وَكَفَّيْهِ».
