3477. Narrated 'Abdullāh (bin Mas'ūd)As if I saw the Prophet ﷺ talkingabout one of the Prophets whose nation hadbeaten him and caused him to bleed, whilehe was cleaning the blood off his face andsaying, "O Allāh! Forgive my nation, for theyhave no knowledge."
3477 - حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي شَقِيقٌ، قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَحْكِي نَبِيًّا مِنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ ، ضَرَبَهُ قَوْمُهُ فَأَدْمَوْهُ، وَهُوَ يَمْسَحُ الدَّمَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ وَيَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِقَوْمِي فَإِنَّهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ»
