3539. Narrated Abū Hurairah رضي الله عنه: (The Prophet) Abul-Qāsim ﷺ said, "Name yourselves after me, but do not call yourselves by my Kunya."

Arabic text

٣٥٣٩ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ «سَمُّوا بِاسْمِي وَلَا تَكْتَنُوا بِكُنْيَتِي.»
