3562. Narrated Abū Sa'īd Al-Khudrī رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: The Prophet ﷺ was shier than a veiled virgin girl.(1) Narrated Shu'ba a similar Hadīth as above with this addition: And if he (i.e., the Prophet ﷺ) disliked something, the sign of aversion would appear on his face.
3562 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي عُتْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «أَشَدَّ حَيَاءً مِنَ العَذْرَاءِ فِي خِدْرِهَا» حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، وَابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالاَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ مِثْلَهُ، وَإِذَا كَرِهَ شَيْئًا عُرِفَ فِي وَجْهِهِ
