3630. Narrated Anas bin Mālik رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ had informed us of the death of Ja'far and Zaid before the news of their death reached us, and his eyes were overflowing with tears.

3630 - حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: نَعَى جَعْفَرًا، وَزَيْدًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَجِيءَ خَبَرُهُمْ وَعَيْنَاهُ تَذْرِفَانِ "
