3673. Narrated Abū Sa'īd رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not abuse my Companions, for if anyone of you spent gold equal to Uhud (mountain) (in Allāh's Cause) it would not be equal to a Mudd (two-third of a kilogram) or even a half Mudd spent by one of them."(1)
3673 - حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ذَكْوَانَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لاَ تَسُبُّوا أَصْحَابِي، فَلَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ أَنْفَقَ مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ، ذَهَبًا مَا بَلَغَ مُدَّ أَحَدِهِمْ، وَلاَ نَصِيفَهُ» تَابَعَهُ جَرِيرٌ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَمُحَاضِرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ
