3803. Narrated Jābir رضي الله عنه: I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "The Throne (of Allāh) shook at the death of Sa'd bin Mu'adh." Through another group of narrators, Jābir added, "I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, 'The Throne of the Most Gracious (Allāh) shook because of the death of Sa'd bin Mu'adh'."(1)
3803 - حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ المُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا فَضْلُ بْنُ مُسَاوِرٍ، خَتَنُ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «اهْتَزَّ العَرْشُ لِمَوْتِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ»، وَعَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مِثْلَهُ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: لِجَابِرٍ، فَإِنَّ البَرَاءَ يَقُولُ: اهْتَزَّ السَّرِيرُ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ كَانَ بَيْنَ هَذَيْنِ الحَيَّيْنِ ضَغَائِنُ، سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «اهْتَزَّ عَرْشُ الرَّحْمَنِ لِمَوْتِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ»
