3948. Narrated Salmān رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: The interval between 'Īsā (Jesus) عليه السلام and Muḥammad ﷺ was six hundred years.

3948 - حَدَّثَنِي الحَسَنُ بْنُ مُدْرِكٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ، قَالَ: «فَتْرَةٌ بَيْنَ عِيسَى، وَمُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمَا وَسَلَّمَ، سِتُّ مِائَةِ سَنَةٍ»
