3966. Narrated Abū Dhar: رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: The following Holy Verse: "These two opponents (believers and disbelievers) dispute with each other about their Lord..." (V.22:19) was revealed concerning six men from Quraish, namely, 'Ali, Hamza, 'Ubaida bin Al-Hārīth, and Shaiba bin Rabī'a, 'Utba bin Rabī'a and Al-Walid bin 'Utba.
3966 - حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عُبَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: نَزَلَتْ: {هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا} [الحج: 19] فِي رَبِّهِمْ فِي سِتَّةٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ: عَلِيٍّ، وَحَمْزَةَ، وَعُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ الحَارِثِ، وَشَيْبَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، وَعُتْبَةَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، وَالوَلِيدِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ "
