English translation
4008. Narrated Abū Mas'ūd Al-Badrī رضي الله عنه: Allāh's Messenger ﷺ said, "Whosoever recited the last two Verses of Sūrat Al-Baqarah at night, that will be sufficient for him."

4008 - حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ البَدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الآيَتَانِ مِنْ آخِرِ سُورَةِ البَقَرَةِ، مَنْ قَرَأَهُمَا فِي لَيْلَةٍ كَفَتَاهُ»، قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ: فَلَقِيتُ أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَحَدَّثَنِيهِ
