English translation

4044. Narrated Jābir رضي الله عنه: Some people took wine in the morning of the day of Uḥud and were then killed as martyrs.

Arabic text

4044 - أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: «اصْطَبَحَ الخَمْرَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ نَاسٌ، ثُمَّ قُتِلُوا شُهَدَاءَ»
