English translation
4405. Narrated Jarīr: رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: The Prophet ﷺ ordered me during Hajjat-ul-Wadā', "Ask the people to be quiet and listen." He then said, "Do not become infidels after me by cutting the necks of one another."

4405 - حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُدْرِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: فِي حَجَّةِ الوَدَاعِ لِجَرِيرٍ: «اسْتَنْصِتِ النَّاسَ» فَقَالَ: «لاَ تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا، يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ»
