4713. Narrated Abū Hurairah رضي الله عنه :The Prophet ﷺ said, “The recitation [ofZabūr (Psalms)] was made light and easy forDāwūd (David) that he used to have hisriding animal be saddled while he wouldfinish the recitation before the servant hadsaddled it.”
4713 - حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «خُفِّفَ عَلَى دَاوُدَ القِرَاءَةُ، فَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِدَابَّتِهِ لِتُسْرَجَ، فَكَانَ يَقْرَأُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَفْرُغَ - يَعْنِي - القُرْآنَ»
