What evil omen of a lady is to be warded off. And the Statement of Allāh: "Verily, among your wives and your children, there are enemies for you". (i.e. may stop you from the obedience of Allāh) (V.64:14)

English translation

5094. Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Evil omen was mentioned before the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ said, "If there is evil omen in anything, it is in a house, a woman and a horse."

Arabic text

5094 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ العَسْقَلاَنِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: ذَكَرُوا الشُّؤْمَ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنْ كَانَ الشُّؤْمُ فِي شَيْءٍ فَفِي الدَّارِ، وَالمَرْأَةِ، وَالفَرَسِ»
