English translation
5100. Narrated Ibn 'Abbās رضي الله عنهما It was said to the Prophet ﷺ, “Won't you marry the daughter of Hamza?” He said, “She is my foster suckling niece (suckling brother's daughter).”

5100 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: قِيلَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَلاَ تَتَزَوَّجُ ابْنَةَ حَمْزَةَ؟ قَالَ: «إِنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ» وَقَالَ بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ، سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ، مِثْلَهُ
